Lead Software Engineer

Title: Lead, Software Engineer – Backend / Integration TS/SCI-W2
Location: Patrick Space Force Base, FL-Onsite

Duration:12+ months/contract
Must Haves:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 9+ years of experience, OR Master's degree with 7+ years of experience, OR 13+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Strong backend development experience
Proficiency with Java
AWS cloud development and deployment experience
Linux experience
Docker experience
CI/CD pipeline experience
Git and version control experience
REST API and microservices development
Experience supporting Agile/Scrum software development teams
Experience building and deploying applications in classified or high-security environments
Ability to prepare technical designs, implementation plans, roadmaps, and documentation
Customer-facing experience gathering requirements and refining application functionality
Security+ certification (or DoD IAT Level II certification) or ability to obtain within 6 months
