The Role

  • Conduct engineering field visits and hands-on assessments of commercial properties.
  • Evaluate key risk factors including site water supply, dust accumulation, chemical storage, and rack configurations.
  • Develop and communicate technical recommendations and engineering solutions to clients.
  • Support clients in strengthening safety, protecting assets, and improving overall risk management.
  • Travel to client facilities daily with approximately 30% overnight travel expected, and to natural catastrophe sites as needed.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or fire protection.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven technical capability with diverse engineering principles.
  • Efficient time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and physical ability for site inspections (e.g., climbing ladders, lifting >25 lbs, occasional confined spaces).
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
