Job Description

Year Up is seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Application Developer to join our dynamic team in the Education, Training & E-Learning department. This role is essential to our mission of closing the opportunity divide by enabling young adults to build cutting-edge tech skills and gain essential workplace experience. Candidates will develop and maintain various educational applications and platforms, collaborate with educators to optimize learning technology, and contribute to projects that impact educational equity directly.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain applications using standard development tools
Collaborate with instructional designers to integrate effective educational technologies
Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, and testing
Assist in the troubleshooting and resolving of issues within the application or its environment
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
