Status: Exempt/ Full Time/ Hybrid (3 days onsite/ 2 remote)

About the Role

In this highly hands-on role, you will independently deliver high-quality, actionable insights that support the company’s strategic goals. Bridging the gap between technical data execution and business strategy, you will drive end-to-end analytics projects without the overhead of team management. You will partner closely with business leaders to optimize KPIs, architect and build robust reporting frameworks, and foster a data-driven culture across your supported departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-On Analytics & Reporting: Lead the design and delivery of critical dashboards, automated reports, and deep-dive analyses using tools like SQL, Python/R, and BI platforms (Sigma, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Business Partnership: Act as the primary analytics partner for key business units (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Product, Sales). Translate their business questions into analytical frameworks and present clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Data Quality & Operations: Collaborate closely with Data Engineering to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and timeliness of data models. Champion data governance and maintain clear documentation for KPIs and business logic.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline analytical workflows, improve existing reporting structures, and introduce new analytical methodologies (like A/B testing frameworks or forecasting models) to the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related quantitative field, with at least 1–3 years of experience managing or leading a team of analysts.
  • Technical Stack: Expert-level SQL skills. Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Sigma, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) and a solid foundation in Python or R for data manipulation.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong business sense with the ability to connect data metrics to business outcomes. Experience with A/B testing, cohort analysis, and funnel optimization.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into easy-to-understand stories and actionable steps for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline.
  • Extensive experience utilizing business intelligence and visualization tools including Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment managing data requests and sprint cycles.
  • Familiarity with data transformation and modeling tools like dbt, as well as cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
