• Lead surveillance, prevention, and control of infections within the hospital.
• Promote and maintain high standards of infection prevention and control practices to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Provide evidence-based clinical advice and support.
• Act as a professional role model.
• Deliver education to staff.

• *What You'll Need**
• Registered Nurse educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Current NMC registration.
• Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of recent updates in infection prevention and control practice.
• Recent experience as a registered nurse in an acute surgical care environment.
• Previous experience and knowledge of infection prevention and control at ward/departmental level.
