Automation Engineer - SASE 12-Month Contract<br />Fully Remote - UK<br />Outside IR35 £500-£525 per day We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join a long-term programme focused on automating and improving enterprise SASE and network security environments.

This is a 12-month, fully remote contract offering £500-£525 per day Outside IR35. The ideal candidate will come from a strong network security / SASE background and have hands-on experience building automation around security platforms, infrastructure and APIs.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop automation solutions across enterprise SASE and network security environments<br />Automate configuration, deployment and operational processes using Python<br />Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform<br />Develop integrations using REST APIs<br />Automate security and networking workflows across cloud and SASE platforms<br />Work closely with network, security and engineering teams to identify opportunities for automation<br />Improve repeatability, scalability and reliability across security infrastructure<br />Support automated provisioning, configuration management and platform integrations<br />Troubleshoot automation scripts, API integrations and infrastructure deployments Key Skills Strong hands-on Python development and scripting experience<br />Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code<br />Experience building and integrating REST APIs<br />Strong background within SASE, network security or secure networking<br />Experience automating enterprise networking or cybersecurity environments<br />Good understanding of networking concepts including routing, firewalls, VPNs and secure connectivity<br />Experience working within cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments<br />Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Highly Desirable Experience with Palo Alto Networks<br />Hands-on experience with Prisma Access<br />Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks APIs and automation capabilities<br />Experience with Ansible<br />Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab, GitHub Actions or Jenkins<br />Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP<br />Experience working within large enterprise security environments
