Role: Lead HR Workday Analyst | Lead/Senior Workday Extend Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Contract through January 2027 with potential extension

Role Overview

• Backfill position supporting the HR Governance (HR Gov) Product Team (BEC 5).
• Focus is on building custom HR applications using Workday EXTEND this is not a traditional HRIS/Workday configuration role.
• Candidate will design and build new custom applications from scratch to help managers and employees better use Workday.
• Team consists of 10 members (5 Engineers, 3 Business Analysts, 1 Product Owner, and 1 Scrum Master).

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Workday EXTEND experience (required).
• Experience building custom applications from scratch. If Workday EXTEND is limited, candidates with strong custom application development backgrounds may also be considered.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business problem statements into clear requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from the Product Owner.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders across different business levels.
• HR background is preferred.

Preferred Soft Skills

• Change management experience.
• Basic project management/organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Comfortable partnering with Business Analysts and Product Owners during requirement discussions.
