Job Summary
Performs any duties necessary to maintain sports fields.
What you will do
- Performs work order requests involving the care of sports fields including: mowing and trimming of the fields, fence lines, and any area or building attached to those facilities.
- Aerates, fertilizes and/or seeds fields.
- Hauls and distributes sand to fields.
- Installs bumper blocks, patches and/or fills potholes. Places asphalt will be a side part of these duties.
- Hauls and places gravel for walkways.
- Completes work schedule in a timely manner.
- Maintains the assigned equipment in first class operational condition.
- Handles any related duties in conjunction with maintaining sports fields.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience Qualifications
- Minimum of two years applicable experience Required
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to operate tractors, mowers, and other construction equipment preferred
