One of your core responsibilities will be to strategically design and continuously refine a citywide process for developing IT solutions. You will assume overall responsibility for this process. Through active stakeholder management and strong communication skills, you will connect various stakeholders while always keeping the City of Munich's overarching goals in mind. You will measurably improve "time to market" and delivery capacity in the LHM's IT projects. You bring experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, or Project Manager and lead IT projects to success.
You understand the need for transparency in IT projects and project portfolios from a management perspective and create an environment that fosters excellent results. You promote collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement. In doing so, you assist the functional departments with their questions and actively contribute to the further development and dissemination of citywide standards. What You Bring to the Table A successfully completed Modular Qualification for positions starting at A14 (MQ4) with professional experience in the IT field, or a career qualification for the third qualification level of the specialized career track in Natural Sciences and Technology, with a focus on administrative informatics, and a note of confirmation in your most recent periodic evaluation, or a career qualification for the third qualification level of the specialized career track in Administration and Finance, with a note of confirmation in the most recent periodic evaluation and professional experience in the IT field, or a successfully completed master's degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field, or a successfully completed master's degree with several years (at least three years) of professional experience in the IT field* and extensive (at least three years) professional experience in IT project management and several years (at least two years) of professional experience in product management *In this case, the City of Munich will assess equivalent skills and experience in accordance with the TVöD pay scale.
