Business Manager / Business Execution Manager - Fixed Income & Credit Markets

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Manager / Business Execution professional to join a leading global investment bank on a maternity cover contract within its Fixed Income and Credit Markets division.
This is a high-profile role supporting senior stakeholders across primary lending and syndication businesses, working at the heart of a complex and highly regulated trading environment. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between the business and multiple control functions, helping drive governance, regulatory initiatives, strategic projects and business execution activities across the region.
Key Responsibilities;
Partner with Front Office management and key stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Internal Audit.
Support and enhance governance frameworks, controls and business oversight processes.
Manage and report on control issues, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
Lead and coordinate business initiatives, regulatory change programmes and strategic projects.
Prepare materials for senior management forums, business reviews and governance committees.
Track and drive completion of actions arising from business meetings and reviews.
Coordinate responses to internal and external audits, reviews and regulatory requests.
Facilitate collaboration across global teams to deliver key business objectives and change initiatives.
Requirements
7+ years' experience within Fixed Income, Credit Markets, Loans, Syndicated Lending or Spread Products environments.
Strong business management, COO, business execution, governance or strategic programme management experience gained within banking or financial markets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with front office teams and senior management.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks within a regulated financial services environment.
Experience managing audit deliverables, issue remediation and governance reporting.
Working knowledge of primary loan and syndicated lending transaction lifecycles.
