Job description

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in the office at least once per week.

As the UK’s largest independent full fibre network and wholesale platform of choice, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Our network is greener, more reliable and designed for the future. The products we run over it lead the way on speed, value and service - helping businesses to innovate, communities to thrive, and people to live more connected digital lives.

At CityFibre, you’ll be part of something bigger, helping to build a better-connected Britain, together.

Joining us as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

You’ll take the lead on some of our most complex and business-critical hiring, shaping strategies that help our business secure the specialist, leadership and future capability we need to succeed. Working as a trusted senior partner, you’ll influence workforce decisions, build long-term talent pipelines and help shape how we attract and hire great talent across CityFibre.

You’ll receive a competitive salary and a performance related bonus.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Leading recruitment across complex, specialist, leadership and business critical roles
  • Creating hiring strategies aligned with current priorities and future capability needs
  • Partnering with senior and executive stakeholders to challenge demand and shape role design and talent decisions
  • Building pipelines for hard-to-fill capabilities through talent mapping, targeted engagement and proactive market activity
  • Turning market intelligence, competitor insight and hiring data into clear recommendations that inform talent and workforce decisions
  • Sharing your expertise across the Talent Acquisition team to strengthen our approach to sourcing, assessment and hiring
  • Contributing to wider talent priorities, from workforce planning and internal mobility to inclusive hiring and employer brand

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll be an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who can move comfortably between long-term talent strategy and hands-on delivery. You’ll bring the credibility and commercial judgement to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and lead complex hiring in competitive talent markets.

You’ll also have:

  • A strong track record of shaping hiring strategies and delivering complex, specialist, leadership or hard-to-fill roles
  • Experience influencing and challenging senior stakeholders to achieve strong commercial and hiring outcomes
  • Experience building long-term talent pipelines around future capability needs
  • Strong market mapping and talent intelligence skills, using insight and data to inform decisions
  • Sound assessment judgement and a commitment to inclusive, fair and consistent hiring
  • Experience coaching others and contributing to high-impact hiring campaigns or critical capability builds
