Android Developer

Plano, TX

Contract

Required Skills:

8+ years of professional Android development experience (Java/Kotlin)
Strong experience with Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django, or custom scripting)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party API integration
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
Experience with mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, etc.)
Understanding of Android SDK, UI/UX design principles, and Google Play submission process
Exposure to Python-based ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, OpenCV) is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience with tools like Retrofit, Room DB, Firebase, SQLite
Python scripting for automation, data processing, or backend development
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) is a bonus
Exposure to hybrid mobile development frameworks (Kivy, BeeWare, etc.) is a plus
