Job Description

IT Procurement Director
Our Mission
We believe technology should empower-not encumber-our people, our customers, and our mission. Our team is dedicated to sourcing and managing IT solutions that are not only cost-effective but also strategically aligned with our long-term vision. We value integrity, precision, and collaboration, and we know that the right partnerships-both internal and external-are the foundation of innovation.

As our IT Procurement Director, you'll be the strategic bridge between technology, legal compliance, and vendor relationships. Your unique blend of procurement expertise and contract-savvy insight will ensure that every IT investment-whether hardware, software, or professional services-delivers maximum value, mitigates risk, and supports our growth. You'll be the person who ensures that every agreement we sign is not only favorable but future-proof.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services engagements.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate IT contracts, statements of work, and service-level agreements with a keen legal eye-identifying risks, ensuring compliance, and protecting the organization's interests.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (IT, Legal, Finance, and Operations) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, fostering collaboration while holding partners accountable to performance and contractual obligations.
  • Analyze market trends and emerging technologies to inform sourcing strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement procurement best practices, policies, and tools to streamline processes and improve transparency.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on contract interpretation, risk mitigation, and vendor dispute resolution.
Experience
  • 8+ years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 4 years in IT procurement leadership.
  • A paralegal or legal background with proven experience reviewing and negotiating complex IT and professional services contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract law principles.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and building long-term vendor partnerships.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear contractual language.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills-able to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with procurement tools and ERP systems; familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks is a plus.
