Job Description
COLSA Corporation is seeking an experienced and motivated Systems Analyst to support Windows system vulnerability remediation efforts on our Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Enterprise Information Technology Support Services (EITSS) contract. You will be responsible for installing software and operating system updates and patches that have not successfully been updated through automation. You may be required to re-install the operating system, software, and re-establish users working profiles in some instances. You will work closely with AvMC users and must have effective written and verbal communications. You will work closely with Senior Systems Analysts and other members of the Information Technology (IT) team to ensure all systems and applications are running efficiently and effectively, meeting the DoD's standards for performance, security, and compliance. Job Duties: • Perform updates and patching of Microsoft Windows operating system and software as well as non-Microsoft software on workstations and laptops through manual or automated mechanisms. • Rebuild Windows 11 workstations and laptops from pre-build images. • Provide Tier 1, 2 and 3 level technical support to AvMC Enterprise. • Ensure all support requests initiated by end-users outside of the AvMC Service Center (ASC) end-user portal are captured in the ASC Enterprise Service Center, including emails, phone calls, web chats, and face-to-face contact. • Troubleshoot failed system and software updates and patching, discover root cause, and provide resolution guidance. Required Experience Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (Compute r Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent experience. * Minimum of 5 years of work-related experience. * Working knowledge of Windows administration and troubleshooting * Current CompTIA Security+ CE. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs. * Active Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications * Experience with DoD security requirements and regulations to include DISA STIG. * Information Technology service experience.
