Job Description

We're looking for a Solution Lead - Learning to own and grow our clients learning technology with this newly created role to optimize their in-house capabilities.

You'll be the go-to person for how the learning platform works day-to-day - keeping it reliable, well-documented, and continuously improving, while working closely with HR, business stakeholders, and technology partners to make sure the system actually meets people's needs.

The current learning system in place is a commercial, off-the-shelf enterprise product.

You'll also take ownership of the implementation of additional modules like Talent & Succession, Compensation, Performance & Goals.

This isn't a one-off implementation gig. You'll be embedded in a product team that owns Learning end-to-end, from design and build through to release, running it, and improving it - so you'll see the impact of your work long after go live. Our client has a large pipeline of upcoming projects as well.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading the day-to-day solution management of the Learning platform - configuration guidance, standards, and support
  • Translating what the business actually needs into practical, workable outcomes in the system
  • Coordinating changes, releases, incidents, and fixes with technology teams and external suppliers
  • Keeping documentation, processes, and reporting accurate and up to date
  • Supporting testing, cutover, and go live activities as we migrate systems onto Oracle
  • Flagging risks, security, or compliance gaps early and working with the right teams to resolve them
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and with our technology partners
What you'll bring
  • 7+ years in IT, digital services, delivery, or operations - ideally in a large, complex organisation
  • Experience with HR/Learning systems (e.g. Off The Shelf Products, Oracle Learning Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors Learning, or similar)
  • Experience working with enterprise systems, plus real comfort translating business requirements into technical outcomes
  • A background in service management practices (ITIL knowledge is a plus, not essential)
  • Strong communication skills - you can explain technical things to non-technical people and hold your own with technical teams
Why this role

You'll play a key part in a major systems transformation, helping shape how thousands of employees experience learning and development technology, on a platform that's being built to last.
