Job Title - Maintenance Engineer
Location - Consett
Salary: £46,000
Shift: 12 hour Days and Nights

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.
An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified maintenance engineer to work for a large blue chip manufacturing company based near Consett. The Maintenance Engineer will benefit by working for a excellent company who take pride in supporting and developing engineers on a regulary basis. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
Electrical Qualification
Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the Manufacturing sector
Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
