The Role

• Collaborate with finance directors and other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of journal entries.
• Serve as a primary resource for accountants, providing guidance and training on transaction recording and policies.
• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks and cover for open accountant roles in assigned communities.
• Prepare daily cash account reconciliations and monthly balance sheet/income statement account reconciliations.
• Identify and resolve issues, implementing processes and controls to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Five years of accounting experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Ability to train and mentor other accounting staff.
