Senior Data Engineer

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines powering insights across our telecommunications and media-driven automotive platforms. You will architect cloud-based data solutions, optimize data models, and ensure high data quality for brands like Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book. Partner with data scientists, product, and engineering teams to deliver reliable datasets, real-time streaming solutions, and robust ETL. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Architect and optimize cloud-based data warehouses and lakehouse solutions.
• Develop efficient ETL/ELT processes and data models to support analytics and product use cases.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver reliable, consumable datasets.
• Implement data quality, observability, and governance best practices.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of data infrastructure.
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and automation for data pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
