Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer to join our engineering team and help design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Go, backend development, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
You will work closely with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and applications using Go/Golang.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Go best practices.
- Integrate applications with databases, message queues, third-party services, and external APIs.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
- Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to system architecture, scalability, performance, and security improvements.
- Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and observability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong professional experience with Go/Golang.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional programming concepts.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.
- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
- Understanding of concurrency, goroutines, channels, and Go’s standard library.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
