Responsibilities

  • Manage each project's scope and timeline
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality stand
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it

Requirements

  • 5+ Years Experience in a scrum master role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
  • Minimum 3+ years of experienc with Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field

Nice to have:

  • Scrum master certification is a plus
  • Mentoring of junior team members.
  • SVN, Git, Gradle version control experience, Bitbucket

Benefits

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $75/hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits including participation in medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, and AD&D insurance, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits
