Wireless Connectivity Validation Engineer

This position is for a Wireless Connectivity Validation Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Palo Alto/San Francisco, CA. The role will require the candidate to work onsite 5 days a week at the specified location. Local California candidates are preferred. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and must be able to provide specific examples of hands-on EVAL kit bring-up and complex troubleshooting.

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Wireless EVAL Kits/Evaluation Boards
• Experience with Wireless/UWB technology
• Embedded systems and hardware interaction
• Evaluation board bring-up and reference designs
• Hardware/Firmware/Software troubleshooting
• Experience with PC/Linux, embedded platforms, and mobile test devices
• Ability to independently diagnose complex issues and drive solutions
• Experience developing and executing lab and real-world validation test plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Bring up and validate wireless evaluation boards
• Integrate boards with PC/Linux, embedded, and mobile platforms
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software issues
• Execute wireless validation/testing and analyze results
• Evaluate wireless technologies for ranging, sensing, presence, reliability, and robustness
