Shipping & Packaging Associate
Join our dynamic team as a Shipping & Packaging Associate and play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of our high-quality products in Stevens Point. Wage: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm
*Potential overtime
What You'll Do:

• Assemble, package, and ship products in accordance with daily production targets.
• Maintain accurate and legible records of all shipping and packaging activities.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Follow safety protocols and uphold company standards for a clean and organized work area.
• Perform manual handling of products, which includes lifting up to 50 lbs+ continuously and up to 65 lbs occasionally.
• Utilize mechanical tools such as power hand tools and wrenches to complete assembly tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team goals.

Required Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Physical ability to lift, handle, and manipulate items weighing up to 50 lbs or more.
• Effectiveness in using basic mechanical tools and measuring devices.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing daily demands.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in manufacturing, shipping, or packaging roles.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and documentation standards.
• Experience working with hand tools and measuring equipment.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred, especially in a production setting involving heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks.
• Experience with safety standards and protocols in industrial environments.

Other Requirements:

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential, with the ability to work scheduled hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including mandatory overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.
• Ability to follow safety and quality policies diligently.
• Willingness to work extended hours and support overtime needs to meet production deadlines.
