Job Description

Cloud DTA Job Title: Extended Workforce - Network Support Engineer

Location- Autin- TX -onsite
Salary- 120K( 10% QPLC included)

 

Summary:

CCIE is mandatory.

 

The Extended Workforce (xWF) Network Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical

support for the Transfer Appliance Operations (TAOps) site network infrastructure. This includes

configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and responding to outages. The ideal candidate will have a

strong understanding of networking concepts and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced,

collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities:

● Configure, monitor, and maintain TAOps site network infrastructure

● Troubleshoot and resolve network issues

● Respond to outages and ensure rapid restoration of service

● Work with a geographically distributed cross-functional team to design, implement, and

support TA network operations

● Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies

● Document all network changes and procedures

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience in network engineering

● Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, routing, switching,

and DNS

● Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

2 years of experience in switched network in a Network Engineer CCIE role

● Exposure to network design, network infrastructure installations/upgrades and fault

finding.

● Experience configuring and troubleshooting BGP routing protocols.

● Experience with BGP Traffic Engineering.

● Exposure to Carrier/NSP grade routers - Juniper MX, Cisco CSR, NCS, Arista and SDN.

● Extensive knowledge and understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 Networks.

● Understanding of Data Security and encryption solutions - PKI/IPSec is desirable.

● Experience managing Access Control Lists.

● Experience configuring equipment including switches and This includes 802.1q VLANS.

● Troubleshooting skills across Layers 1 - 7

Preferred qualifications

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may

be equally valuable

● Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

● Familiarity with Cloud Network Architecture, deployment and Operations.

● Understanding of virtualisation products and Network automation

● Excellent understanding of switched network implementation and best practices.

● Good understanding of Unix/Linux command line

● Effective Communication and Influencing

● Experience with changing and Improving network designs

● Problem-solving skills and can-do thinking

● Managing a Quality Service with little or no supervision

● Delivering at Pace
