Position Summary: As a Senior Account Manager, you are a trusted client partner and operational leader across assigned accounts. You own account performance from both a relationship and financial perspective, ensuring integrated campaigns are strategically aligned, operationally rigorous, and commercially sound. You serve as a partner to overall Account leadership, helping manage brand growth, profitability, and long-term partnership development. You guide cross-functional teams from scope through execution, balancing creative ambition with disciplined delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Client Partnership & Strategic Growth
- Serve as a primary client contact, building strong, trusted relationships that drive long-term partnership growth.
- Advise clients on activation strategies, campaign execution, and integrated marketing initiatives.
- Translate business objectives into actionable account plans across sponsorship, experiential, digital, and traditional channels.
- Identify portfolio opportunities and provide strategic recommendations that enhance client impact.
- Participate in new business efforts, proposals, and pitch development.
Operational & Campaign Leadership
- Oversee end-to-end campaign management across integrated channels, ensuring seamless execution from scope to delivery.
- Develop scopes and staffing plans in partnership with account leadership, balancing profitability and creative ambition.
- Manage and steward external partner relationships (teams, leagues, talent, agencies, vendors, etc.), ensuring negotiated rights are activated effectively and value is fully realized for clients. Proactively identify optimization opportunities within partnership agreements.
- Anticipate and resolve complex operational challenges while maintaining client confidence.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across creative, production, strategy, and finance.
Financial Ownership
- Own financial oversight of assigned accounts, including budget allocation, burn monitoring, reconciliation, and proactive scope management.
- Guide teams in financially responsible decision-making.
- Provide clients with transparent financial updates and reporting.
Team & Leadership Development
- Manage and mentor Account Managers and Coordinators.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and workflow guidance.
- Reinforce integrated ways of working and elevate standards across accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of experience in a creative agency, sponsorship marketing, or integrated brand marketing environment
- Proven ability to manage day-to-day client relationships and lead integrated campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing budgets and scope development.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Strong financial literacy and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Notion AI, etc.) and an interest in leveraging emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency and insight generation.
The pay range for this position is $105,000 - $123,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
