Job Description

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our dedicated team. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in various settings including commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Coordinate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Keep current with the latest fire alarm technologies, industry standards, and local codes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience servicing fire alarm systems.
  • Valid state fire alarm technician license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, components, and NFPA standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to work at heights, lift equipment, and perform manual tasks safely.
