Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has a challenging career opportunity for an Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Spectrum Management Office (SMO) within the Office of the Chief Engineer. This Engineer will focus on advancing mission-critical initiatives through comprehensive spectrum lifecycle managementincluding system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination.

This Engineer will focus on advancing mission-critical initiatives through comprehensive spectrum lifecycle managementincluding system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent, thorough, and integrated management, execution, and products of Flight, Technical, Programmatic, and Cyber risks through the MDA Risk Working Group (MRWG)
- Execute Technical Risk assessments to support MDA Operational Capacity List (OCL) Decisions
- Provide expert review of evidence related to technical and Cyber risks presented in System and Element requirements and design reviews
- Provide support to elements for risk development
- Support Mission Execution and disposition of Execution Risks and Event Observations in Daily MRWGs.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in STEM
- 7+ years of experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Successfully pass background and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications :
- Graduate of a military spectrum management school
- 4+ years of experience within federal/DoWspectrum management
- Ability to obtainactive Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Experience with Spectrum XXI (SXXI)
- Knowledge of the NTIA Manual (Redbook)
- Experience with the GEMSIS suite (Stepstone, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online [HNSWD-O], Joint Spectrum Data Repository [JSDR], Integrated Spectrum Desktop)
- Knowledge of electromagnetic propagation modeling, wave behavior, and signal attenuation
- Experience with Mat-lab or other programming languages
- Knowledge of the Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution Online (JSIR-O) portal
- Experience with NTIA EL-CID
- Knowledge of standard engineering practices
- Experience with automation tools or programming/scripting languages to aid in data analysis
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory and electromagnetic principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strict attention to detail
- Effective communicationand collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain andmaintaina Secret security clearance
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Teams
