Manager Quality Management System & Compliance (m/f/d)

Mission Brief 

The Manager Quality Management System & Compliance is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company quality management framework. This role ensures compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations while enabling efficient business operations.
The position owns the quality management system, audit programs, process governance, CAPA systems, document control, and quality training framework to support sustainable growth and certification compliance.

Your Role in Our Space Mission: 

• Own and maintain the company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with EN9100, ISO 9001, ECSS, and other applicable standards and requirements.
• Lead internal audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate external audits, surveillance audits, and certification activities.
• Govern process documentation, process ownership, and process compliance monitoring.
• Maintain and improve CAPA processes and effectiveness verification methods.
• Lead document control and controlled information management activities.
• Develop and maintain quality training and competency frameworks.
• Support management reviews and quality performance reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality system effectiveness.
• Coordinate compliance assessments and gap closure activities.
• Partner with functional leaders to embed compliance into daily operations.

Qualification Checklist 

• Experience managing quality management systems within regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of EN9100, ISO 9001, and related standards.
• Experience leading internal and external audits.
• Understanding of process governance and compliance management practices.
• Experience managing CAPA systems and document control processes.
• Knowledge of certification and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to drive systemic improvements across organizations.
• Experience within aerospace or high-reliability industries is advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in English; German is beneficial.
