SAP EWM Consultant

Location: Forest City, Iowa – Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, onsite every alternate week

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and integration with SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in warehouse processes, inbound/outbound operations, RF/barcode functionality, integrations, testing, implementation, and production support.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP EWM warehouse structures, inbound/outbound processes, task and order management, handling units, and RF/barcode operations.

• Integrate SAP EWM with S/4HANA modules including MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and FI.

• Work on integrations with external systems such as 3PL providers, warehouse automation platforms, and carriers.

• Support compliance requirements including batch and serial number tracking, shelf-life management, healthcare regulations, and audit standards.

• Prepare detailed functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers on technical solutions and enhancements.

• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and troubleshooting.

• Assist with data migration, cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support.

• Develop and deliver end-user training and supporting documentation.

• Provide ongoing production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and process improvements.

• Participate in change management activities and recommend improvements to warehouse processes and system functionality.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM functional configuration and implementation.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes, including inbound, outbound, picking, packing, putaway, replenishment, and inventory management.

• Experience with RF framework, barcode scanning, handling units, warehouse tasks, and warehouse orders.

• Experience integrating SAP EWM with S/4HANA MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and FI.

• Experience with 3PL, automation, carrier, and other external system integrations.

• Experience with SAP EWM testing, troubleshooting, production support, and defect resolution.

• Strong understanding of data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.

• Knowledge of batch management, serial number tracking, and shelf-life management.

• Experience supporting GxP, FDA, or other healthcare-related compliance requirements is a plus.

• SAP S/4HANA EWM implementation experience is highly preferred.
