Financial Business Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Business Analyst to support Capital Programs by partnering with Engineering, Field Operations, Accounting, and Regulatory teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience working with SAP and capital budgeting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support capital budget planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Track capital projects and prepare performance reports and dashboards.
• Perform financial analysis, benchmarking, and variance reporting.
• Assist with regulatory filings and data requests.
• Analyze project costs, budgets, and forecast updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve capital program performance.

 

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Business Analysis or Financial Analysis experience.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and capital project tracking.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

 

Preferred Experience:

• Utility, Energy, or Capital Programs background.
• Experience supporting Engineering, Operations, or Accounting teams.
