Senior Oracle Database Administrator - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in administering large-scale Oracle databases, focusing on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and managing Oracle Golden Gate multi-master replication.

Responsibilities:

• Support large-scale Oracle database environments on UNIX
• Perform in-depth performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Set up and manage Oracle Golden Gate multi-master replication
• Build and support Oracle Dataguard environments
• Upgrade Oracle RAC 19c/23AI and GoldenGate 23AI environments
• Participate in on-call pager duty rotation

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle RAC on UNIX environments
• Experience with Oracle performance and tuning
• Experience with Oracle 19c and Oracle 23ai
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including configuration and upgrades to 23ai
• Experience building and supporting Oracle Dataguard
• Proficiency in shell scripting and Perl
• Experience with standard Oracle tools such as OEM, Toad, and SQL Developer

Desired skills:

• DBA experience in financial institutions

Pay range: $55.13 - $63.13 per hour
