You will be instrumental in driving requirements development, technical documentation, and cross-functional integration to ensure mission success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Engineering & Analysis: Execute end-to-end systems engineering activities for Precision Fires programs, applying critical thinking to resolve complex, system-of-systems engineering challenges.
- Requirements Management: Develop, analyze, and manage existing and new system requirements throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Hands-On DOORS Administration: Actively utilize IBM DOORS (9.7.x) to manage requirement data independently. This includes establishing traceability links, creating objects within modules, and exporting Requirement Verification Matrices (RVMs) without reliance on a dedicated DOORS administrator.
- Agile Collaboration: Work dynamically within an Agile environment, attending regular scrum meetings and leveraging Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for requirement tracking and support.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Assimilate and align system requirements with other critical functional areas, specifically Software Safety, Test, and Cybersecurity.
- Technical Documentation: Author, review, and maintain accurate technical documentation and specifications.

Education Requirements:
- Must possess a Bachelors degree and two (2) years' relevant experience; Six (6) years' additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
Clearance Requirements:

Qualifications:
- Lifecycle Expertise: Strong background supporting systems engineering across the complete software development lifecycle.
- Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of, or direct experience working with, systems engineering throughout the Army Acquisition Life Cycle is considered a very strong plus.
- Tool Proficiency:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with IBM DOORS (9.7.x) for active data and requirement management.
- Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for requirements support is highly desired.
- Interdisciplinary Analysis: Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and understand their cascading impacts on software testing, system safety, and cyber defense protocols.
