They are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to enhance documentation and communication standards within their Civilian Division. The Role

• Review, revise, and ensure conformance of documents (manuals, instructions, technical orders) to style guidelines and best practices.
• Edit and standardize content prepared by subject matter experts to improve clarity, flow, and readability.
• Gather information from subject matter experts and produce original written drafts for review and finalization.
• Prepare, edit, and revise various documentation, including reports, correspondence, and briefings.
• Maintain an accurate listing of technical documents, their key data, and revision schedules.
• Develop original content in various formats such as articles and talking points.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical writing experience.
• Ability to obtain and pass a Public Trust Security Investigation (US Citizenship required).
• Proficiency in editing and standardizing technical content for clarity and accuracy.
• Experience with records management processes and developing filing systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Federally-mandated "plain language" writing style is advantageous.
