Job Description

For our Professional Tools business in Remscheid, we are looking for a Director Product Management (m/f/d) to join our team at the earliest possible date. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for product strategy, portfolio management, and the development of the RIDGID, Klauke, and OEM product portfolios across Europe. You will lead a geographically distributed team of Product and Project Managers and work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, and Marketing Communications. In doing so, you will ensure that customer needs, market insights, and business priorities are translated into successful product strategies and sustainable growth.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Developing and executing long-term product strategies for RIDGID, Klauke, and OEM portfolios across Europe
Managing the complete product lifecycle from strategy development to portfolio optimization
Building and maintaining product roadmaps and innovation strategies
Analyzing market trends, customer requirements, and competitive developments
Adapting global product strategies to European market requirements and regulations
Collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, Sales, and Marketing Communications on new product development initiatives
Driving successful commercialization and product launch activities
Defining product positioning, pricing strategies, and value propositions
Leading, developing, and coaching a geographically distributed team of Product and Project Managers
Building and maintaining strategic relationships with customers, channel partners, and key stakeholders
Representing Product Management within the European leadership team
Leading or supporting strategic global initiatives and cross-functional projects

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
Extensive experience in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a comparable leadership role
Strong expertise in product lifecycle management and new product development
Experience in developing and executing product and portfolio strategies
Good understanding of European markets, customer requirements, and distribution channels
Proven people leadership experience
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Fluent English skills, German language skills are considered an advantage
