The Role • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including diagrams, manuals, and operational procedures. • Develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management and compliance. • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information. • Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. • Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy and alignment with current systems. • Maintain revision records and manage documentation repositories for easy access and traceability. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, ideally in a technology environment. • Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information clearly. • Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans is highly desirable. • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
