SAP PCCM / EHS Developer (PCM Specialist)

Position Overview

We are seeking an SAP PCCM/EHS Technical Resource specializing in Product Compliance Management (PCM). In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate SAP EHS and PCM modules within SAP S/4HANA to automate chemical safety, substance volume tracking, dangerous goods management, and SDS authoring across core business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Development: Build custom ABAP objects, classes, and reports using BOPF, CDS Views, and Web Dynpro/Fiori. Configure the EHS Substance Database (specification trees, phrase libraries, inheritance).

• Integration & Automation: Connect PCM with core SAP modules (Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing) to automate compliance checks. Build APIs, OData services, and IDocs for external regulatory databases.

• Architecture & Design: Translate functional compliance needs into Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) using SAP standard extension points (BAdIs, Enhancements).

• Support & Optimization: Perform testing, troubleshoot tier-3 production issues, and optimize WWI templates for Safety Data Sheet generation.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: Hands-on SAP ABAP development with 2+ years dedicated to SAP EHS / Product Compliance (PCM).

• Technical Stack: OO-ABAP, BOPF, Web Dynpro/FPM, SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, and SAP Fiori/UI5.

• EHS & Integration Tools: Hands-on experience with WWI (Windows Word Integration), Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), and OData/SAP Gateway.

• Requirements: Excellent debugging skills, strong communication, and Agile/Scrum experience.

Nice-to-Haves

• S/4HANA migration experience from legacy SAP EHS (ECC).

• SAP ABAP or EHS Certification.

• Knowledge of SAP Recipe Development (RD) or PLM integration.
