What This Role Offers You

  • A Direct Track for Career Growth: You won’t just be managing an office—you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Nursery Manager and Central Support Finance Team. You'll gain high-level operational experience across finance, compliance, ratio management, and setting leadership.

  • A Role Where You Make an Impact: Every system you streamline and every family you welcome directly contributes to creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for young children to thrive.

  • Dynamic & Diverse Workdays: From front-of-house family engagement to financial administration and Early Years Funding management, no two days are the same. You'll expand your skill set across multiple operational areas.

  • A Supportive, Collaborative Culture: You will be part of a positive team that values your proactive ideas, supports your professional development, and celebrates your successes.

How You’ll Shape Your Day & Build Your Skills

As our Office Manager, you are the heart of the setting—the welcoming face for families and the operational anchor for our team. In this full-time (40-hour) role, you will:

  • Lead the Front-of-House Experience: Welcome current and prospective families, host engaging nursery tours, handle parent enquiries, and build warm, lasting relationships across our community.

  • Master Early Years Finance & Funding: Partner with our Central Finance Team to manage invoicing, payment queries, and debt administration, while taking ownership of Early Years Funding claims and accurate record-keeping.

  • Drive Operational & Compliance Excellence: Support the Nursery Manager with staff administration, ratio alignment, and essential compliance procedures.

  • Champion Systems & IT: Utilize and sharpen your IT and organizational skills by managing multi-platform administrative systems that keep the nursery running smoothly.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

We are looking for someone organized, warm, and ambitious. You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Relevant Administrative Experience: Background in office management, financial admin, school, or early years settings.

  • Financial & Funding Confidence: Familiarity with invoicing, financial administration, or Early Years Funding claims (or the confidence to learn quickly).

  • Strong IT & Organizational Aptitude: Comfortable managing multiple priorities, learning new software systems, and keeping meticulous records.

  • People Skills & Positive Energy: Outstanding communication, proactive problem-solving, and a warm, professional customer service approach.

  • Compliance Awareness: A solid understanding of safeguarding principles and the importance of compliance within an early years setting.
