Job Description

Director, Enterprise Architecture Process Leader - Top Financial Services Org

I'm partnering with my top client, a well-known large global Bank. They have a strong presence in the NYC/tri-state area and are hiring a Director-level Enterprise Architecture Process Leader.

You'll own the design, optimization, and governance of the firm's Enterprise Architecture processes, helping drive consistency, transparency, and alignment across the technology organization. You'll shape the EA operating model, including engagement models, RACI, governance workflows, and decision-making across Enterprise, Group, Solution, and Domain Architects, while overseeing the EA tooling ecosystem, including architecture repositories, intake, Approved Tech Stack workflows, and reporting. You'll partner closely with senior Operations, Governance, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security stakeholders to establish governance standards, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen the overall architecture function.

Key Experience:
  • Years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Architecture Governance, or IT Process / Operating Model Design
  • Strong experience designing and improving EA governance workflows, including intake, architecture review boards/councils, ADRs, and deployment readiness
  • Experience defining operating models, RACI, engagement models, and escalation paths across architecture teams
  • Strong reporting and dashboard experience
  • Understanding of technology risk, audit, controls, policy compliance, and governance within a FS environment
  • Strong process documentation, SOP, playbook, and continuous improvement experience
