Job Description

Role Summary
This position involves the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing, and maintenance of systems software supporting health department operations. The role requires a strong understanding of system development, graphical user interfaces, and control languages. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, debugging, and supporting software solutions to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions using the .NET framework and related technologies.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C#, JavaScript, VB.Net, and ASP.NET.
  • Test and debug applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system and project requirements.
  • Participate in system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for system software applications.
  • Monitor existing systems, identify issues, and provide technical support for end users.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to uphold software quality standards.
  • Integrate software components with third-party systems and services.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the .NET framework and related technologies to improve application development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a .NET developer or in software development.
  • Strong understanding of the .NET framework, C#, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proficiency in database design, SQL, and web development technologies including ASP.NET, MVC, and API.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, efficient software solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Experience with system troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to write technical documentation and support existing applications.
  • Willingness to work on-site as required.

Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00 Hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
