Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test cases, validate functionality across web and mobile platforms, and partner closely with developers and product teams to ensure high quality releases.
  • Dig into requirements, catch edge cases, and help deliver reliable software in a collaborative Agile setting.
  • Log and track defects using Jira (or Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing, and validate data using SQL.
  • Identify gaps in requirements and think through edge cases to improve test coverage.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of manual testing experience.
  • Solid understanding of the full testing lifecycle (STLC) and SDLC.
  • Ability to write clear, thorough test cases, scenarios, and test plans from scratch.
  • Experience logging defects and tracking issues using Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
  • Hands-on testing experience with web and/or mobile applications.
  • Strong analytical skills to spot gaps in requirements and edge cases.
  • Working knowledge of SQL to validate data during testing.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Natural curiosity and creativity in finding ways to identify issues.
