The Role

• Operating and monitoring paper production machinery, both on-site and remotely via the process control system.
• Managing the startup and shutdown sequences of the paper machine, including managing paper web breaks.
• Performing equipment maintenance, such as felt changes, and guiding support personnel.
• Cleaning machinery components and replacing scrapers.
• Adjusting and verifying paper web tension.
• Overseeing quality parameters using various monitoring systems and laboratory data.

What You'll Need

• Successful completion of vocational training as a Paper Technologist or a comparable qualification.
• Previous experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and remain flexible and resilient.
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift operational model.
