Job Description
This role is fully onsite in Canton, MA. Thanks so much for applying!
This opportunity is with a global technology organization whose products support critical applications across healthcare, industrial automation, robotics, and aviation security. The organization's motion control division is widely recognized for developing advanced motor drives, controllers, and automation technologies used in highly precise, performance-sensitive environments. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in the development of desktop software that powers and configures sophisticated motion control systems. This position is heavily focused on Java development, with a particular emphasis on building graphical user interfaces using Java Swing.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys building complex desktop applications that directly interact with real-world hardware. Rather than working on traditional web applications, you'll develop the software tools that engineers and customers use to configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot advanced motion control products deployed in robotics, automation, and medical technology environments. The role offers a unique combination of UI engineering, application architecture, hardware integration, and system-level problem solving, while providing regular collaboration with both software and hardware engineering teams to influence next-generation motion control solutions.
