The Role

• Inspect surfaces for roughness, paint, surface protection, and perform non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Measure and inspect parts using standard measuring and testing equipment against specifications.
• Grant production release based on inspection results.
• Independently create and process error reports, making disposition decisions.
• Conduct NDT on welded assemblies in aluminum and steel.
• Inspect assemblies and individual parts from new production and repair.

What You'll Need

• Completed training as a materials tester, welder, or comparable qualification in the metal sector.
• Certifications in non-destructive testing (NDT), specifically MT2, PT2, and VT2, with potential for further testing methods.
• Experience with SAP, CAQ system BABTEC, and standard MS Office applications is advantageous.
