Duties and responsibilities for Diesel Truck Mechanic:Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailersConducts regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including tire rotation and oil changesResponsible for repairing, modifying and performing preventative maintenance on fleet vehiclesResponsible for all maintenance to the operation of equipment by completing all required preventive maintenance requirementsTroubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctionsInspects fleet vehicles to ensure that all vehicles are DOT compliant including brake maintenanceQualifications for Diesel Truck Mechanic:experience with engine diagnostics tools & softwarePay depends on experience.
