2058 EPMP Senior Analyst - Monday.com
Position Summary:
The EPMO Senior Analyst will play a critical role in operating, standardizing, and maturing the organization's use of monday.com as the system of record for portfolio, project, and resource management. This position is ideal for an experienced project or portfolio analyst with hands-on monday.com experience, preferably as a Monday System Administrator, who can translate EPMO standards into scalable boards, workflows, automations, and dashboards. Partnering closely with Portfolio Governance leadership, project managers, and delivery teams, the Senior Analyst will drive consistent project intake, planning, status reporting, and performance measurement across the portfolio. The successful candidate will provide data-driven analysis and actionable insights, improve data quality and platform adoption, and ensure the platform is governed with appropriate access controls and change management. Through effective platform governance, standards, and reporting, this role will help enable informed decision-making and improve the organization's ability to successfully deliver strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Portfolio Governance leadership to administer, standardize, and continuously improve monday.com as the EPMO work management platform, including workspaces, board templates, workflows, and operating standards.
- Configure and maintain boards, columns, views, forms, and dashboards that support the EPMO project lifecycle, from intake and assessment through planning, execution, and close-out.
- Design, build, and maintain monday.com automations and integrations with connected tools (for example, time tracking, collaboration, and reporting platforms) to reduce manual effort and improve data consistency.
- Manage user provisioning, permissions, and guest access; support periodic access reviews and maintain documented change records for platform configuration changes.
- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and executive reporting covering project status, milestones, risks, issues, budget, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and improve data quality across projects and portfolios, partnering with project managers and owners to resolve gaps and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Support project managers and delivery teams with project management best practices, including scheduling, RAID management, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Drive user adoption through documentation, training materials, office hours, and process enablement; gather feedback and maintain a prioritized backlog of platform enhancements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for monday.com platform questions, escalations, and liaise with vendor support as needed.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on organizational needs.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, PMO or EPMO operations, portfolio management, business analysis, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience using monday.com to manage projects, portfolios, or workflows, including building boards, views, and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, status reporting, and risk and issue management.
- Experience translating business processes and governance standards into repeatable tool configurations, templates, and workflows.
- Strong experience analyzing project and portfolio data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, train end users, and communicate insights and recommendations to leadership.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, lookups, pivot tables, data cleanup, and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to documentation, standards, data integrity, and change control.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence adoption at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications Preferred:
- monday.com System Administrator experience, including account settings, permissions, workspace structure, automations, integrations, and platform governance.
- EPMO or PMO experience within a mature technology organization.
- Experience with workflow automation and integrations, such as monday.com automations, Power Automate, APIs, or other low-code tools.
- Experience with data, reporting, and dashboarding, using monday.com dashboards, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience with related tools such as Harvest, Planview, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft 365.
- monday.com certification, PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, Agile, SAFe, or related certifications.
