• This role is for a Senior Data Analyst who can profile and assess data, collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and analyze data to uncover meaningful insights. The candidate should be able to connect data findings with business objectives and translate them into actionable insights.
• This is an analyst-focused R&D role that may lead to the development of new metrics, dashboards, and data-driven solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• We are seeking several experienced Data & Analytics Consultants to support high-priority initiatives led by our Strategic Initiatives Office.
• The consultants will report to the Chief Data Officer and work day-to-day with a lead in the Strategy organization, partnering with business stakeholders and the Data team to provide data, analysis, insights and reusable data assets needed to advance priority initiatives.

What We Need

• We are looking for individuals who can connect wealth management business needs with data and analytics, working with the Strategic Initiatives Office to translate priority business needs into rigorous analysis, insights, and decision support.
• Successful candidates will understand the wealth management business, be highly analytical and data savvy, and be comfortable working with Strategy and business leaders to understand the questions they are trying to answer, determine how data can help, and translate analysis into meaningful business insights.
• The work will move quickly and may begin with questions that are not fully defined from a data or analytical perspective.
• Consultants must be able to structure the analytical problem, explore and interpret the data, identify what is meaningful, and clearly communicate findings.
• At the same time, they must work within the organization's evolving data strategy and target state, making pragmatic trade-offs that support near-term needs while creating well-defined, reusable data assets wherever appropriate.

Technical Skills

• Power BI strong hands-on experience with data modeling, analysis, visualization, and development of business-facing dashboards and analytical solutions.
• SQL advanced ability to query, integrate, manipulate, validate, and analyze large and complex data sets.
• Snowflake experience working with and analyzing data within a cloud data platform.
• Databricks experience with data exploration, transformation, and analytics preferred.
• Python experience using Python for data analysis, manipulation, or automation preferred.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and analytical data structures, including the ability to document data sources, business rules, calculations, transformations, and assumptions.
• Experience working across on-premises and cloud-based data environments is preferred.
