About Bridge

Bridge started in 2008. In our early years we were primarily focused on providing a front-end UI designed to help our clients capture additional data and improve forecasting. In 2012 we launched a Disability Employment Services product and from then have continued to innovate and lead in this sector. This year we launched JAMS+, the most comprehensive job seeking tool on the market. We are only getting going and there is still a lot more innovation to be developed.

About the job

Below you will find a list of the key duties and responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Ruby code.
  • Integration of data storage solutions - may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Help maintain code quality, organisation and automatisation.
  • Monitor, test and do ongoing support of existing applications and help developers deploy new services inside the cluster.
  • Install regular updates and keep systems up to date.
  • Develop, test and document new system features using Ruby code.
About You

An already accomplished software engineer, you will bring proven experience along with your passion for software products, proactively getting things done and problem solving. Well developed communication skills is a must and knowledge and experience of the following:
