Senior Data Governance Consultant

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute metadata scanning across relational, NoSQL, API, and event-driven source systems using Informatica CDGC. Implement metadata ingestion solutions for MongoDB and AWS DocumentDB using available Informatica tooling, ingestion APIs, and scripted extraction. Catalog REST APIs and microservices as governed assets within Informatica CDGC. Integrate event-driven sources such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, and AWS SQS to support lineage tracking and data governance.

Configure and manage connections across Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS S3, and NoSQL platforms. Build and validate end-to-end data lineage from source systems through AWS S3, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. Define, publish, and manage Data Products within Informatica Marketplace. Support data curation workflows including classification, glossary association, profiling, and stewardship alignment. Perform data profiling to assess data quality, completeness, patterns, and metadata across scanned assets.

Troubleshoot scanning failures, connectivity issues, metadata quality gaps, and ingestion challenges. Develop scripting and ingestion solutions using Python and/or Java where required. Document configurations, ingestion approaches, lineage patterns, and Data Product definitions. Support knowledge transfer and promote consistent data governance practices across the environment.
