Fall Protection Engineer

Fall Protection / Height Safety Engineer Location: Rochester – Covering London & South East Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE + Overtime + Company Van Contract: Full Time, Permanent The Opportunity A well-established, family-owned height safety specialist is recruiting an experienced Fall Protection Engineer to join their team based in Rochester. Supporting commercial and high-profile sites across London and the South East, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected business offering stable long-term work, minimal nights away, and genuine support for its engineers. What’s on offer:

• Up to £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• 38.5-hour week, including paid lunch
• Overtime: time and a half (Monday to Saturday), double time (Sunday)
• Mostly London & South East work – minimal working away & no building site work

The role:

• Install, inspect, test and maintain fall protection systems
• Work on lifelines, anchors, guardrails and height safety systems
• Carry out inspections and remedial works
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
• Deliver a high standard of customer service on-site
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with industry standards What they’re looking for:
• Proven hands-on experience within fall protection or height safety
• Strong knowledge of BS 7883
• Comfortable working at height
• Reliable, organised and professional
• Full UK driving licence
• Must be able to commute to Rochester
