Overview:
Role - Observability Architect

Location - Mclean, VA
Responsibility::

• Provide outcome-based, SME-level Observability Architecture support full-time until observability baselines are met, the engagement roadmap is delivered, and steady-state maintenance can be supported by existing Supplier Operations staff.
• Assess current capabilities, deliver a gap analysis, and create an actionable strategy for Observability improvements.
• Design health dashboards and telemetry solutions for all scoped applications and data solutions.
• Engage the Observability Team and observability tool vendors to drive roadmap requirements representing the client’s application and data ecosystem.
• Partner with Chief Dev Leads and the SRE Transformation Technical Lead to develop the internal improvement roadmap, define baseline observability profiles, and advise on logging improvements across applications and data solutions.
• Engage observability vendors and bring in industry best practices as needed to recommend observability trends, products, and solutions that increase capabilities and efficiencies while lowering costs.
