Staff Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

This position requires onsite work in Aurora, CO and an active TS/SCI w/POLY security Clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.

Solidus is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer, providing enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community. This position manages projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices.    Day in the Life:

• Provide systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition
• Communicate with many levels of program, other contractors and government stakeholders and works to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures and practices
• Manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades
• Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
• 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
• Experience with Systems Engineering, to include installation, integration and test support
• Experience with Engineering technical and project management
• Experience with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor.)
• Experience with Request For Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment experience
• An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly
• Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Experienced with Customer NSIS and/or rapid delivery methods
• Experience with strong customer relationships
• Experience working across contract and location boundaries
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence and MBSE/CAMEO beneficial
• Programming/Scripting languages (C++, Java, Python, etc.) preferred, but not required
• Strong Systems Engineering Background Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.
